Fake ≠ Fact Info Lab in Tallinn, Estonia

In a cooperation between the Baltic Centre for Media Excellence, Danish Cultural Institute in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, the Nordic Journalist Center and the Human Rights Academy, the exhibition “Fake ≠ Fact Info Lab” opened this week with a workshop on media literacy, democracy, and Fake News in Tallinn.

 

An interactive dialogue-based workshop was hosted by an expert from Academy of Human Rights  Yevgenia Horoltseva (Norway) and journalist and media expert Leif Lønsmann (Nordic Journalist Center, Denmark) who talked about media literacy, combating disinformation and propaganda, democracy and how to distinguish facts from fakes.

 

This Wednesday the focus was specifically on the above mentioned in terms of sustainability and climate. You can read more about the project here.

 

The workshop took place October 27, at 10:30 in the building of the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School, room N315.
