EUNIC Green Deal & Architecture – Sustainable Building
Sustainability in the Building Industry
Danish Cultural Institute in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is part of EUNIC-Latvia, that will lead “Green Deal and Architecture” on May 10th, a conference about sustainability and timber architecture in the building industry. The conference is part of Forum Wood Building Baltic at RTU – Rigas Techniska Universitate.
The Danish participant is Niels Morsing, director of Wood and Biomaterials at Danish Technological Institute and project coordinator for the Build-in-Wood project, that is supported by EU’s program for research and innovation Horizon 2020. The Build-in-Wood project is researching construction of multi-storey wood buildings – their slogan: “Build green. Build in wood.”
